Motivated by his personal experience and a passion for economic advancement, Sid has become a thought leader in workplace emergency savings and financial benefits. Before Sunny Day Fund, Sid was named Innovator of the Year when he was technology strategy executive at Accenture, founded two impact-focused startups, and earned his PhD, MBA, MS, and BS from University of Virginia.
CEO & Cofounder
Driven by a passion for making high-quality financial services accessible to all, she brings her experience delivering exceptional consumer banking solutions at Capital One to Sunny Day Fund’s mission. Mairead holds a Computer Science degree from Williams College and is based in Richmond, Virginia.
Staff Software Engineer
She has 23 years of employee benefits experience focused on addressing financial precarity in the workforce, both from her 15+ years as a top recruiting and producing district manager with Aflac, as well as her prior work as a health broker. Rachel earned her BS from Mary Washington University in Virginia.

Samba was previously working as Software Developer and Senior Software Developer in TechGrit Solutions India Pvt.Ltd. Samba earned his Bachelor of Technology from JNTU University Kakinada.

Senior Test Engineer
is the Lead Engineer, and prior to joining Sunny Day Fund, gained experience in a variety of roles in the cybersecurity, HR tech, and advertising spaces. He is a longtime resident of Charlottesville, Virginia.

is a part of Sunny Day Fund’s Sales Team. She is dedicated to help employers provide a solution for their employees to achieve their financial goals through our program. She is currently based in the Philippines.

Implement securely with peace of mind
Sunny Day Fund is SOC 2 Type II certified, with no qualifications. That means an independent CPA audited us and assure that we operate effectively across security, process integrity, privacy, and other trust criteria.
Data Storage and Processing
Our data is securely hosted on the cloud across multiple regions with appropriate backups. Our cloud partners are trusted independent providers who have earned their SOC 2 Type II and/or ISO certifications.
Data encryption
Employer, employee, and platform data are 256-bit encrypted at rest and in transit.
Data permissions & authentication
As per our SOC 2 Type II, we strictly restrict access to customer data to authorized personnel. Team members use multi-factor authentication or respective secret keys for platform data connections.
Geofencing for public sector
Our customers are based in the US, and so are their data and the people that assist them. By geofencing to the US, we are able to support public sector clients as well.
